Create a vibrant business to attract more clients
If you believe that everything is energy then you’ll know the importance of creating and maintaining a vibrant business.
Being vibrant means being alive and energetic – very client attractive qualities.
I see this in the clients I am working with. Many of them are so full of energy, enthusiasm and vitality they are naturally attracting an abundance of clients and opportunities internationally.
When you think about the companies, shops, people and experiences that you want to be associated with, you’ll see that they work hard on constantly updating, energising and refreshing themselves.
If there is any sense of tiredness, staleness or ‘lack of love’ then business quickly suffers and so do you.
I know that from time to time that we can all experience business ‘blahs’ and negative thoughts and emotions. Unfortunately this is very client repelling even though you might think you are doing a good job of covering it up!! Because what goes on internally soon manifests in the world around you.
Whether you are on an ‘energetic high’ or a ‘crashing low’ work on the following areas so that you and your business consistently exudes vitality, vibrancy and success…
Negative thoughts and emotions. Personally, I find it incredibly difficult to gloss over or suppress any negativity I am feeling or experiencing by just focusing on the positive. And as it’s likely that there will be a few low points during the month I work with an energy healer on a monthly basis to help me clear up my self sabotaging beliefs and emotions. I know this is an ongoing process but having someone who can help me deal with this quickly means I can show up and serve my clients from a higher place.
Personal energy. Running your business requires a LOT of physical and mental energy to stay fresh and inspired. Plus clients don’t want to hire or work with someone who is exhausted and depleted. They need you to help fuel them as well! Make you and your body your number one priority. Which means not over working, eating energy rich food and scheduling in lots of self care. I factor in breaks away from city life in the countryside and ‘electronic free time’ in my favourite spa retreats to rest and renew.
In Arianna Huffington’s recent book Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Happier Life, she talks candidly about her own challenges with managing time and prioritising the demands of a career and two daughters. Drawing on the latest research and scientific findings in the fields of psychology, sports, sleep and physiology that show the profound and transformative effects of meditation, mindfulness, unplugging and giving, Arianna shows us the way to a revolution in our culture, our thinking, our workplaces, and our lives.
Images. Business today is highly visual whether this means pictures or videos of you and your products or photos that reflect your brand. It pays to keep these updated and the highest quality that you can afford as most of us are naturally drawn to attractive images (hence the popularity of more visual blogs and social media sites). Pictures tell a story and often create a personal connection more quickly than words alone. Do your images reflect your business brand?
Appearance. The best companies pay attention to the smallest details because they know that their customers expect this and as a result are prepared to pay a higher price. If we are our own personal energy field, the clothes and accessories we wear and the materials we produce for our business will reflect this. Because styles go out of date and things wear out take care with how everything looks on, in and around you. You’ll feel better and your clients will be reassured when you take pride in how you and your business look.
Work becomes easier and more fun when you and your business radiate vitality and energy.
