I know how challenging it can be when you have a dream, goal or idea, and then all the doubts and anxieties start to show up.
The negative thoughts and feelings range from “I’m not good enough”, “I’m not sure this will work” to “What if it all goes horribly wrong”.
When we let self-doubt take over it can lead to missed opportunities, procrastination, guilt, shame, and regret.
When want we really want is more clients, success, and wealth in our lives.
Unfortunately, self-doubt never really goes away but we can take conscious steps to lessen its impact.
Do you want to join me in feeling more confident and empowered to make decisions, take action, and have a more fulfilling life and business?
Here are some of my personal insights….
~ Challenge any negative beliefs and perceptions. Are they based on reality? Can you reframe your thoughts, for example, from “I’m not good enough” to “I have the ability to learn and grow”?
~ Focus on your strengths, talents, and accomplishments. How can you use them to deal with any potential challenges or problems you may face?
~ Surround yourself with people who believe in YOU and will encourage and support you. Mentors, business coaches and networking groups can give you a different perspective and help you stay motivated.
~ Take action. Often when we take even one small step towards a goal, synchronicities happen, and tasks feel more doable. All of which builds confidence and momentum over time.
~ Stop comparing! We’re all unique in business and at different stages of growth and experience. It’s much more productive to focus on you and what you want in your business.
Overcoming feelings of self-doubt can take time, but remember you are capable of achieving what you want in your life and your business, by focusing on your strengths, taking action and receiving support.
Finally, I like to ask myself “”What would my life and business be like, if I didn’t let self-doubt hold me back”?
